And as a gateway to gorge and waterfall country, it’s full of natural wonders. Walk down wide leafy streets lined with heritage architecture, see great Australian art.. Go via Armidale as the road is much better & the travel time is far less than advised by the Tourist Info office in Uralla. Excellent facilities, take bangers as many clean BBQ’s available. Well signed & good tracks. Still some falls today despite lack of rainfall, well worth a visit to this amazing canyon in the middle of nowhere.
